The Rwandan artist RunUp's YouTube channel changed name to "Siinko"
The YouTube channel of artist RunUp has now changed the namew. His personal name was removed and replaced with “Siinko.”
Siinko is a company based in Nigeria that helps artists with different aspects of their music careers, including distributing and selling their songs. It is the label that RunUp had been working with.
This comes after RunUp recently announced that he and the owner of the company had failed to reach an agreement. The company reportedly asked RunUp to pay 17 million Rwandan francs in order to end their partnership properly. However, they were unable to come to terms.
At that time, RunUp said he was looking for a way to change his name and start again, since negotiations had failed while they were still bound by a contract.
He also explained that this disagreement is the reason he has not released any new songs recently to continue entertaining his fans. He said he is now trying to find a way to rebrand himself, because he cannot wait for the remaining years of the contract to expire without releasing any more music.
RunUp was most known by his hits songs including “Tsunam”i and “See”
