KIGALI: Debutants RSSB Tigers made history at a packed BK Arena on Wednesday, eliminating former champions Al Ahly SC 106-97 to become the first Rwandan club to reach the Basketball Africa League final.
Witnessed by President Paul Kagame and thousands of fans, the Tigers, who entered the tournament following APR's late withdrawal,stunned the Egyptian giants.
In-form guard Craig Randall exploded for 32 points, while dominant center Oumar Ballo anchored the paint with 20 points, successfully holding off a late Al Ahly surge to secure the historic milestone on home soil.
