Tanzanian President to Host Rwandan Counterpart for Working Visit
DAR ES SALAAM – The Directorate of Presidential Communications has announced that His Excellency Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, is scheduled to arrive in Tanzania this Sunday, May 3rd, 2026.
The visit is designated as a one-day working session aimed at strengthening the ties between the two neighboring East African nations.
According to the official public statement released from the State House; President Paul Kagame is expected to arrive on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026, and He will be received by Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania.
During this one-day working engagement, the two leaders are expected to primarily engage in high-level discussions.
The State House noted that: "Their discussions will focus on matters of mutual cooperation between the two countries."
