Africa Forward Summit: Kagame, Ruto, and Macron Meet to Scale Africa-France Trade
On Monday, in Nairobi, Kenya, President Kagame has joined other Heads of State and Government from across the continent for the inaugural Africa Forward Summit co-hosted by President William Ruto of Kenya and President Emmanuel Macron of France.
Held under the theme “Africa Forward: Africa-France Partnership for Innovation and Growth”, the summit aims to strengthen collaboration between France and Africa in trade, investment, and technology.
The President co-chaired a roundtable on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies, and will address a plenary with African and French CEOs on Green Industrialization and Energy Transition.
The Summit brings together over 4,000 participants including over 25 African Heads of State and Government, business leaders, and innovators, and will conclude with the Nairobi Declaration on Future Africa-France Cooperation.
