LOMÉ, TOGO; President Paul Kagame has arrived in Lomé to participate in the inaugural African Air Transport Convention & Expo, hosted by Togolese President Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé.

Jointly organized by the African Civil Aviation Commission and the African Union, the landmark event unites aviation ministers, airline executives, and global investors. The primary objective is to accelerate the execution of the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM) while building a
resilient, competitive continental aviation sector.

President Kagame is scheduled to deliver keynote remarks during the official opening ceremony.

Additionally, he will hold a bilateral meeting with President Gnassingbé on the sidelines to
strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between Rwanda and Togo.
